When Nero was emperor, the Roman Empire was in its ascendancy.

The economy was booming in the latter days of the empire. But money is an agent of decline. Rome was in an advanced state of decay around two centuries before it finally fell.

Hi Knowland a question what do you mean by chivalry??

have you heard about Dalrock?, he explains that modern chivalry is just cuckoldry , and it is not biblical, that kind of chivalry that portrays men as submissive to their lover , and has to do everything for her "heart" , that chivalry where men are just loyal dogs expecting the approval of the "lover"

Most of this is straight out of Tacitus. The Roman historians are best.

I would be interested to know if you think the decline can be turned around, or if history tells you that it is inevitable ? In the past it has taken war to return people's sense of value to reality

Men do see marriage as a burden , but I thought that the elites were the last bastion maybe they can still afford it when it goes wrong. All aspects are evident to a fairly strong degree, even abortion (those who support abortions the moment of birth), and even female v male combat sports (trans MMA fights).
