Brilliant piece. Wish I learned this stuff when I was 20. Young men need to be taught this stuff. They are begging for a purpose, a mission, REAL responsibility.

When we have no mission, we become degenerates. That is exactly what happened to me. Hopefully its not too late for me to fix and find a good woman and build a family.

You mention bragging is weak, what do you think to comedy bragging , when the guy is plumping up his ego to his wife but both parties know its not serious.

That sounds more like self-deprecation rather than bragging. But it's still buffoonery rather than masculine wit. So my guess is it still makes the wife think less of the husband.

Interesting point. Could you define masculine wit? How does that differ from sarcastic wit? Buffoonery is also a term seldom used, at least in the US. Could you give some examples of these various terms and they relate to Godly masculinity.

I married a woman who ticks some of these boxes but not others. It is a broken world, but it is worth the fight

How much is your wife younger than you if I can know?

Furthermore, where to find a good woman? I go to church often but there are mostly older people. Should I go from one to another in hope she will be the right one or just work on my masculinity?
