This makes me question so many aspects of the neitzcheans that I’ve never even thought of. This was a great piece of writing.

As a child. I was taught that pride, greed and lust are the worst of the sins. The wisdom of that teaching is evident all around us. It’s no accident that one particular group adopted the sin of pride as the banner and symbol of their movement.

I read BAPs book and was disappointed, to say the least. Didn't understand what all the praise was about; it wasn't even well constructed, or logical. One reviewer agreed that it sounded like what a 15 year old boy might think masculinity is.

Judge then by their fruits. The part about sleeping with 23 harlots and yelling it proudly covered in his own excrement was shocking.

BAP and his circle must be taken seriously because they are winning the hearts of the young disllusioned men you'd ideally like to follow the real masculinity presented by Christianity. This is why, and I don't know how, we need to win the church back from the craven liberal stooge Bergoglio and his cronies. BAP tells young men it's good to be strong and ambitious but what comes from the Vatican? Gay marriage blessings and Climate Change hysteria. To the young man now the church can seem indistinguishable from liberal modernism. So they follow BAP. Enemies on all sides and the church is anaemic.

What's your question?

Yes, I suppose so. There are many brilliant evangelisers but the higher echelons of the church have the opposite effect. I think BAP's outsized influence is an effect of this - and he knows it. He even had SSPX Bishop Richard Williamson on for an interview once to press this point in a roundabout way.

Pope Leo XIII addresses your question in 'On the Duties of Christian Laymen.'

Ultimately, what attracts guys to Catholicism is masculine Catholic guys.
