Dating apps are a disaster:
Men outnumber women on dating apps by 8-9 times. The average dating app is a sausage fest. A third of men NEVER get a date. And the women rarely find a SERIOUS man.
NOBODY has time for ~12 hours a week that end in disappointment. The average dating-app user spends 5.2 hours a week looking at profiles. And another 6.7 hours sending out messages.
Most people are on dating apps for SUPERFICIAL reasons. And the few who are serious can’t make an informed decision. A couple of photos and a few lines of text aren't enough.
Dating apps are built for speed and ease. They reduce the complexities of courtship to simplistic superficialities. They care ONLY about quantifiable information. But people aren't machines.
The fee of most dating apps is too low to weed out fakes and flakes. And the ones with higher fees don’t offer value for money. There’s no PERSONAL service.
Dating apps are open to everyone. There’s no VETTING. They don’t care about getting to know you personally. And they don't care about your prospects.
Dating apps make you depend on your own discernment. They offer NO guidance for you. But this is the MOST important decision of your life. They're not setting you up for success.
You deserve better. And Tim Gordon and I are providing it…
If you're a young Catholic SICK of the failings of modern dating apps and you're looking for marriage within the next 18 months, this is for you:
Sign up here.
We launched last night and are already four times over capacity, but this means we’ll be able to be VERY selective with our pool — to the benefit of everyone who makes the cut.
But if you don’t make it into this pool, we’ll keep your application on file for the next round.
Thank you guys for putting this together. Seems like exactly what we need right now.
Hey will, How does your service promote traditional catholic dating when you allow non catholic women to enroll. The Baltimore catechism tells us that this activity leads to indifference. I agree. What say you ? Check paragraph 1037 & 1038
